Thoughts
I’m a fan of Huntington bonuses. I’d go for the Platinum Perks $600 option. There’s no requirement that the money has to stay on deposit for any amount of time. You can get away with depositing the same money multiple times. In my experience Huntington gives you 2-3 statement cycles before charging the account fees.

Thought on applying after the 6 month account closure but before the 12 month previous bonus mark?

The Platinum Perks Checking offer is $800 if you apply before Dec 22, 2023.
Now the $400 dollar bonus is deposit (doesn’t have to be direct) $1,000 within 90 days.

Still the same to avoid fees.

Is this a Targeted offer in the mail?
Will try this and have heard if you stop by the post office and ask for a welcome packet (kinda like some of the multi–place-coupon books you get in the mail but) that is meant for people who just moved that the packet may have bank bonuses in it.

Sorry. To clarify there are two offers. The $400 and $800. The $400 one still has to have a code looks like it requires just new money and not direct deposit.
Though I do not know without a mailer code how to work it. Did not stop by the post office yet Saturday morning to see if it by chance would be in a welcome to the area packet.
Guess it did revert to the $600. Must of happened around nine yesterday.
Hey RJ, when I looked at this offer on Huntington’s site, it says to get the $400 bonus you just have to receive a “qualifying direct deposit”, and it didn’t mention any specific amount. But here it says that it’s 1,000 within the first 90 days. Where did you get that info from?
