Capital One issues the cobranded Walmart credit card… for now. Recently Walmart filed a lawsuit against Capital One. Walmart is accusing Capital one of not meeting the contract terms. Specifically around sending customers replacement cards when request. As well as posting transactions and payments to cardholder accounts.
Naturally, Capital One disagrees. Claiming the bank has resolved these issues. Going further to accuse Walmart of trying to get out of the cobranded partnership early.

Thoughts
Seems getting one Amex Platinum coupon could have gone to Walmart’s head… Interesting to see how this plays out. Other outlets are reporting that Walmart has been trying to redo the current contract between the two.
