Hyatt has announced a new property line ‘Hyatt Studios’. These are being billed as “upper-midscale” properties. Construction is planned for 2023 with the first property opening in 2024.
The Hyatt Studios brand is an extended-stay brand created with the needs of both hotel developers and World of Hyatt loyalty members in mind; announcement supported by signed letters of interest for more than 100 Hyatt Studios hotels

Thoughts
Interesting to see how development plays out. Some of the press releases seems contradictory. The Studio’s will appeal to the higher end guest in this segment… yet only have grab n go style food options.
