Thoughts
The highest offer for Chase business is $750 but that takes a much larger deposit to hit.
Opened online as a sole prop. no problem.
Sorry I hit submit before I typed out my question: If I do this offer early in the year and then close out after rec’ing the bonus money, would this have any effect on an application for a Chase Ink business card at the end of 2024? I was planning to apply for one closer to the end of the year as I have a large vacation I will need to purchase which would make the spend requirement easy to hit on the Ink.
Does the checking offer any APY? I couldn’t find any so I can’t see why the 750 offer is enticing, you have to tie up 30k for at least 60 days and in a basic HYSA thats a little over $200 a month and your waiting at least what 15 days for bonus pay out so by the time you get the account closed and have the funds moved back your at almost 3 months, you’re barely coming out ahead of the 400 offer which only requires $2,000 …
I just opened the 400 offer a couple of days ago. any idea if i can switch to the 750 offer ?
It won’t let me apply online and they don’t have any branches in HI so SOL on this one unfortunately
Opened the Chase business checking account as a sole prop over the holiday weekend. Linked my external joint personal account. Verified the micro deposits Tuesday night and requested a transfer. Within a few minutes Chase fraud department called and said they rejected the transfer. Is this normal? Annoyed that they’re rejecting my $2k initial funding deposit.
Yes, it’s normal. Chase is notorious for this silliness. They see a brand new account being funded with a ‘large’ amount as risky so they over react… despite having asked you to do this very action by virtue of the promo offer. I pushed money from Ally to Chase with no issue.. which was surprising.
What happened, what did you do after chase fraud called? How was this resolved? Did you earn the promo?
