Alaska Airlines has announced milage program updates for 2024. Starting in March of 2024, there will be three regions (below) and switch to a distance based program.
Additional notes for coming soon items
- Increased partner award inventory
- New partner award sales
- Upcoming flexibility with partners
- No change to stopover policy
Thoughts
This is a simpler way to view the program. From what I’ve read, the changes do kill some of those ‘sweet spot’ award booking options.
