Thoughts
We’ve seen a separate offers for each of these accounts in the past. Highest being a checking for $200 I want to say.
I sent over 1500 from Wise with a personal account, and under the transaction type Ally is labeling it as a “Deposit”. Does that mean i’m in the clear?
I’ve heard from others that Wise worked. My first attempt at Amex biz didn’t work when others got paid out. I’m using Wise now.
Did Wise work for you?
Yes, paid a few weeks later.
Did you end up getting the bonus?
Do you need to DD all $1500 at once, or total?
They don’t specify it has to be a single go. I say it can be multiple totaling up to $1,500 in the promo period.
Any idea on what DD’s will be accepted ? Ally is not listed on DOC DD’S ?
Not sure. I sent an Amex biz payment today. They’re supposed to pay within 30 days so we may get a few tries.
Someone on another site posted a data point that they used Scwab Checking Push and got bonus today of $200.
Amex Business worked. Got the $ quick
Just signed up for a Savings account, based on eligibility item #3 it appears I’m not eligible for this bonus. Am I reading that right?
I’d say you are eligible
New Customer – Someone who does not currently have, nor within the last twelve (12) months has had, an Ally Bank Spending Account(s) [formerly known as Ally Bank Interest Checking Account], at any ownership level, whether it be primary owner, joint/secondary owner, or fiduciary owner. Additionally, customers
who received a cash bonus from Ally Bank within the last twelve months for setting up QDD, regardless of account type, are not eligible for this bonus and not considered a New Customer.
Savings wouldn’t have required a direct deposit so I’d still say you’re eligible for this
I used to have a savings account with Ally which i closed about 2 months ago and never had a checking account with them. Am I eligible for this checking/spending account bonus?
I would say yes

Great! Thanks RJ! I will message or call them to verify as well
