Amazon has updated their gift card purchasing rules. Previously you were able to use your Amazon gift card balance to buy gift cards (excluding Visa reloads and Amazon). This is no longer allowed. We’ve had multiple reports of regular gift card purchases now requiring a credit card.

Thoughts
This hurts. I used Amazon gift cards to buy Apple gift cards for this years iPhone launch… If you have the Amazon Prime card then that’d be the next best work around.
