Certain coupons on the American Express business platinum card are now set to end on 12/31/24. This included the Dell, Indeed, and Adobe coupons.
American Express provided this statement to Dan’s Deals
We are committed to making sure there is significant, well-rounded value on our Business Platinum Card. You are seeing this expiration date because we are uncertain if these statement credit benefits with these merchant partners will be available after this date, as we continually evaluate our offerings. If or when any of these benefits change, we will notify Card Members in advance.
Thoughts
I’d imagine each vendor needs to run the math to see if this is worth extending. If not, Amex would have to find new partners to offset the $700 annual fee. Wouldn’t be hard for Amex either way. I’d personally like to see a change up. Dell is ok but the others can go.
I don’t see much benefit to keeping this expensive card (I have 3) if these benefits go away. I max the Dell, Adobe, Indeed and Wireless credits. Unless something usable and worth the same to me replaces these credits then these cards are gone for me.
Wireless is okay. Agree with the other two.
