We’ve seen a Reddit rumor pop up claiming Delta/American Express will be making more changes to Sky Club access. Specifically focused on the credit cards, starting sometime in 2024 or 2025.
- Delta Reserve: 10 passes per year for the primary cardmember. Authorized users can enter the lounge but it’s a total of 10 passes for the account either way.
- To keep unrestricted access for basic cardmember and additional users, you must spend $75k per year.
- Amex Platinum: 6 passes per year.
- Delta Platinum: Might lose access completely, or might be limited to 10 passes by paying $50 per visit.
I wasn’t going to post this initially but rumors are fun and apparently this Reddit user does have some credibility.

Interesting conundrum Delta finds themselves in… how to best support the American express partnership, while keeping your high dollar paying customers happy. No doubt this is due to lounge crowding.
The Delta Platinum almost doesn’t count, as it simply allows the purchase of a pass for $50. To limit the Platinum and Reserve would be a big blow to some of the most expensive cards on the market.
As always… only a rumor for now.
