Getting back in the game after about 8 months. Opened both BoA and Citi. Seems impossible to set up ACH now. Both are asking debit card questions when I don’t even have one.
Did the rules change recently??

I tried to open the Advantage Banking checking account at Bank of America online and was denied. The decision was based on a report from Early Warning Services, LLC.

After submitting my application, I received a message that they cannot open my account online, but they can help me in-branch. Is this normal for BoA? I probably have 7 new accounts this year.
It’s not uncommon. I talked to someone else and going in branch worked for them.
