Hawaiian airlines is no longer a transfer option for BILT Rewards as the contract was not renewed. The effort to create or extend the contract wasn’t worth it for both companies.
Hawaiian transfers are expected to return with the completion of the Alaska/Hawaiian airlines merger. BILT being the only transfer partner of Alaska.
As our original 3-year agreement came to a close with HA, we were confident as reported this morning that the merger with AS would be approved. Given we are the only transfer partner Alaska has at a 1:1 ratio, the ability to book Hawaiian with Bilt points should return shortly.
The legal and manpower overhead required to create a new agreement with HA didn’t make sense for either of us when we were confident the partnership would return shortly.

With the DOJ approving the merger, I can see their point. Not sure how long it will take to reinstate the option.
