Chase has updated the pay yourself back categories for the Sapphire Reserve:
- Annual fee 1.25x
- Gas stations 1.25x
- Wholesale clubs 1.25x
- Pet supply stores 1.25x
Groceries has been removed this go around. Above categories are valid through 6/30/24.
Areoplan’s pay yourself back option has also been extended for travel purchases through 12/31/24.
Thoughts
Seems this feature is still hanging on. Categories aren’t bad. I see this as more of a move for those with a ton of UR points to burn across cards.
