One of my favorites to hit on a yearly bases. Note there’s a payout chart on the bottom of the terms page that shows a target date based on when you sign up. Round trip it becomes a once a year churn.
For the debit card transaction I do 50 Amazon reloads
To avoid the $9.99 account fee I set up an reoccurring ACH from an existing account to Citizens once per month

Amazon changed their reloads to a minimum of 5, which sucks! Do you have any other suggestions?
What is the typical turnaround for the posting?

RJ, I saw this bonus on your colleague “Bank Account Bonus Central” ‘s page, where John said that Citizens will allow out-of-footprint applicants to open accounts. I’m in NC and while I was able to open the account, the bank shut me down about 2 weeks later. After calling to figure out why, it seems that being out of state is the reason. Also, Citizens Bank pulled my Chex report on opening, so you can add that data point.
The confusion comes from Citizens buying up some HSBC and Investors bank branches I want to say. They have expanded but I’m not sure where so I didn’t update to nationwide. Tell John he owes you one! I added the Chex part, thank you sir.

I’ve always had a good experience with this bonus. There was one issue last year but they were easy to work with and did fix it. Good hunting
With P1 & P2, it’s a long process to get that extra $100 per person. I didn’t do more than 5 Amazon reloads per day.
Unless they very recently removed FL from the state list, this should also work there as I opened an account for this bonus with them almost 2 weeks ago.
