Hidden hurdle with this one. Don’t apply unless you’re okay with having your money locked up for 30 days. Bonus posted immediately after DD but when I tried to cash out, there was no option to add an external account. I called and they said external transfers aren’t available to new accounts; have to wait 30 days. A workaround could be Zelle, since it did give me the option to register. I don’t have two Zelle accounts and don’t want to look like a scammer so I’m stuck waiting.
I had a similar issue with First Horizon. You can only transfer $250 per week. The work around I found was using it to pay my credit card. No limit there
I was denied due to Chex. They didn’t seem to mind at all that I was out of state.
Customer service said it’s not nationwide.

No hard pull here…they called me twice asking why I wanted a Texas bank account even though I live in NC…told them I do a lot of work in the Dallas area and they approved me
Have you had the account for a while? DOC seems to say that OOS people get approved and then retroactively denied a few days later.
Account was approved on 7/29. Stil open.
