Google is ending support for Google Pay in the US on 6/4/24. Users can make the switch to Google Wallet, which is basically the same thing from what I understand. Major difference being the feature of sending P2P payments. This is not supported in Google Wallet. Users would need another app like Venmo or Zelle.
Thoughts
Google loves killing products. This one makes more sense with the similarities between their two payment platforms.
