SoFi & Expedia have announced plans to launch a travel portal. This will be a SoFi branded portal, powered by an Expedia back end. No release date yet. Customers will be able to book hotels, airfare, rental cars, travel packages, & experiences via the portal. There will be discounted pricing and rewards available. SoFi cardholders can get 3x back on all travel booked via the portal.

Interesting play. Expedia has powered other travel portals in the past. Sure this will work fine. More interested to see if this will take SoFi down the path of travel cards.
