US Customs & Border Patrol has announced price hikes for the trusted traveler programs:
- Global Entry – $120
- NEXUS – $120
- SENTRI – $120
New pricing is effective 10/1/24

Thoughts
This now makes all three programs the same price. Previously folks would apply for Nexus as it was $50 but came with the perks of Global Entry and TSA Pre. I’m not sure why it can’t all be one single program. I assume credit card benefits will also be updated to match the price hike.

How are they gonna increase the price when they can’t even process global entry applications? Mine has been pending approval for over 11 months. At this point I’m not sure what I even paid for.
