Wells Fargo is sending letters to current Propel cardholders stating the Propel will be force converted to an Autograph card. In the past we’ve seen some Propel cardholders get converted to an Active Cash.

Thank you very much for being a valued and long-standing customer of Wells
Fargo. We are writing to you today with an important change to your Wells Fargo
Propel American Express® Card. In the coming months, we will no longer be servicing the Wells Fargo Propel Credit Card. Because of this change, we are transitioning customers to our best 3X rewards’ card on 05/24/2023, Wells Fargo Autograph Visa- Card.
You will continue to enjoy: Earning 3X points’ on the things that really add up – like restaurants, travel, transit. and popular streaming services , Plus, earn 1X points’ on other purchases, Rewards that do not expire as long as your account remains open, Multiple ways to redeem your rewards-learn more at wellsfargo.com/rewards
• No annual fee, the same AP Rs and credit limit’
Important Information
With this card conversion:
• There is no application or credit bureau inquiry
• You’ll receive your new Wells Fargo Autograph Card and new account
number
• Your rewards points will be transferred to your new account
Continue using your Propel Card until your Autograph Card arrives. On
08/04/2023 your Propel Card will be deactivated and will no longer be
accepted.
There will be no changes t o your Rates & Fees. If you do not wish to have your
account converted. please call 1-866-568-6521 by 05/19/2023. You will not be
able to use your account for new transactions and your account will be closed.
Thoughts
There’s currently an offer for $300 when opening a new Autograph card. If you get a letter I’d open the new card quickly to get an easy $300.
